Its just grass in the desert… i tried to remove it but it does not disappear

Hey there! I work on the UEFN documentation team. Is this an island you’re creating in UEFN? If so, it’s possible the grass is part of the landscape material. You can paint the material though, and that will get rid of the grass for the area you paint.

Hi! yes this is an Island i am creating in uefn, i tried to paint over it but that made it worse
Hi, I’m a Dev at Epic and working on UEFN. The Grass tufts you see here is from Layer7 of your Landscape Painting layers. This is a feature of the CH4 Landscape material.
On normal grass, layer7 will allow you to paint flowers, on Sand this same layer will paint the grass tufts you see here.
Simply select the Edit layer you painted your landcape with and select the Layer7 Material. Holding shift + L Mouse button will erase the tufts.
If you are still having issues with this. I would go into selection Mode. Select the Landscape, Clear the Landscape Material and readd it back. Search for CH4 and it will appear in the drop down list.
After that, go back into Landscape Mode > Paint. And you will see your Material Layers listed. If any of them do not have No Weight-Blend to the right of them. Click on the + sign and add a No-Weight Blend to your project. After that you should be good to go.
