At some unknown point my game started having FPS issues, which made me wonder why, since the scene has literally 2 rooms. To further my research I ran GPU Visualizer, and to my surprise, two scenes are being rendered?? There is only one camera to my knowledge. Any suggestions?
Do you have a Planar Reflection?
Well i did play with some reflections, but completely deleted them. To be sure I created a new level with only the pawn and one mesh. Still the same:
SOLVED!!!..OK, so interestingly, creating an Event init in your GameInstance did this, no matter what code follows it. As soon as I disconnected Completely the Event init, the second scene in GPU visualizer went away and frames became normal…
