GPU Profiler doesn't show anything

I can’t launch my GPU Profiler. Ubuntu 22.04

  1. Launching UnrealEditor from Engine/Binaries/Linux/UnrealEditor
  2. Opening my project
  3. Editor starts up. I write a command ‘ProfileGPU’. The window GPU Visualizer opens, but there is no data.

UnrealInsights doesn’t show anything too.

I remember that previously in another project I started profiling by a shortcut, but I don’t remember it.

Also the build types I was building in VSCode were DebugGame and Development.

P.s. Maybe when I launched my project from UnrealEditor the configuration was wrong? How can I change the configuration when opening my project from UEditor?

Hi, I also have this issue. Running Ubuntu 24.04, AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU, UE 5.5 compiled from source. My Unreal Insights works, but I can’t get profileGPU to work no matter what. Another thing that I noticed is that the “stat GPU” console command works and shows the breakdown of how long the GPu spends on each render pass, however when I profile it, the GPU visualizer just shows 0.0ms for all of the data points.

I have the same issue in UE 5.5.4 on Manjaro
