I am using Reality Scan (Android) with the intention of combining scenes in RealityScan (Desktop).. It isnt clear why gps data is sometimes in the files and sometimes not. ive got location set to on in the Camera APP and in " Samsungs (s22 ultra) settings”. are there dufferent modes in the RS android app which switch geolocation to not used. How dobi force it to be on and deliver through the metadata , xmp , project.json or in the Exif data.
I have the same problem, since it´s not able to save GPS position into the data exif of the photos, it is not possible to get accuracy in the 3d model position and dimensions. It´s an enormous pity.. I had set programs to achive centimetric precision in my android internal position
