I only got It working in Unreal Development Kit 3 unfortunately and want to get it going in unreal 4.
The shader has only one issue. No Sine Wave was added into the Material Node Editor for the waves to make then heave and roll. This ocean was from an advanced 5-series you tube tutorials by a guy called Seenodah but is missing the Rolling Sine wave group of nodes, Sennodah didn’t show us how to build the sine wave into his shader because he just did a quick cut ''n’paste job to paste in the group of nodes so I couldn’t see how to set it up the sine wave to make the ocean waves heave and roll so you are left with a flat-looking .scrolling ocean.
So I can’t complete his tutorial as only stages 1-3 have been done. But stage 4 I can’t finish which is to put foam on top of the waves and add the sine wave to make the waves heave and roll.
The sine wave in question It’s a group of about 20 nodes.
How can I put the sine wave back into the ocean to fix the flat ocean problem with this shader?
And lastly, can I import or convert this Ocean Shader so Unreal 4 engine can use it?
