I am currently facing issues while working with Google VR. So I have a setup created where users can select a TextBox and input strings from a keyboard. All of this works when I tested it out on the computer, but when I packaged it and run it on my Pixel XL, it completely crashes whenever I select the TextBox! Other interactions done to the 3D widget such as button clicks and ScrollBox works except for this. Any help is much appreciated!
I placed both the Pawn and the Actor BP to the World and run it.
It works when I run it on the computer, but when I package it, Android (ATC), and have it installed on my phone, Google Pixel XL, for Daydream, it crashes when I clicked on the TextBox.
It would run normally if I just interact with other components of my project and only crashes, stops working and not responding to any inputs, when I clicked the TextBox.
As for any settings on the project itself, I followed the steps on how to develop for Google Daydream based on the documentation as provided:
I was able to reproduce this issue on our end. I have written up a report and I have submitted it to the developers for further consideration. I have provided a link to the public tracker. Please feel free to use the link provided for future updates. Thank you for your time and information.
