I was wondering if anyone could lend me pointers or point me in the right direction to make plants the glow at night. I am hoping to have it work with a day/night cycle. Avatar is a great example of what I wish/hope for. My idea is to deal with a blueprint that will tell if it is day or night and then turn on the glow material. Would something like that work? Thanks
I would suggest looking at just using the emissive part, But you would have to add(attach) a light to get it to light anything (but will probably be prohibitively expensive if they are set to cast a shadow)

If you don’t want to emit any light (I suggest to manually place point lights in your scene ) you can use global variable to drive emission strength in multiple materials
