Global Illumination on High Kills CPU Temps

Hello, if I set Global Illumination to Medium or Below, my Temps stay around 40C but if I set it to High, my temps rise 50C then 65C then 75C and I turn it back down What is causing this? I have a simple scene and this is my Computer

CPU: Ryzen 5600G with Stock Cooler at Full Speed
GPU: RX 6500XT OC 4GB with Fan Speed Curve made a little higher than normal
RAM: 16GB but feels like more due to how Linux manages things
OS: Arch Linux

Medium or below isn’t using lumen at all. CPUs are fine up to 90C, and those temps aren’t uncommon on a stock cooler with the CPU pegged at 100%. You can set a frame rate limit to lower system usage a bit.
