Glitchy shadow trail with animated character mesh in UE 5

This trail forms when the character is in motion, it will sometimes stay on the ground if I stand still. I actually threw some marketplace cel-shaders in hoping they would fix the issue but they didn’t.

I imagine this has something to do with the UVs? I’ve tried redoing the UV projection in Blender and also recalculated the normals.

My newbie mistake, I misunderstood that the physics asset is involved with shading. I had edited it to not include part of the character’s head which caused this issue.
