Glass Problem

I’m creating a VR walkthrough, however I have a problem with the directional light entering the inside of the building and I can’t seem to know where is the problem, is it with the glass material or mesh material. Here is 2 screenshots of one with the facade and one without.

I think your glass material is casting a shadow. In modeling model under TriModel select the window’s triangles and then click Separate under Mesh Edits. Accept, and then reselect the window mesh that you just selected and turn off cast shadow

Or open the window mesh in Unreal with the mesh editor. Where you assign the materials for the mesh is a tick box to disable casting shadow. This can be done per ID for meshes with multiple materials.

You can also disable casting shadow in the details panel for the glass mesh in the scene. If the glass panes are already seperated. What Beaueos already mentioned above.
