I just want to clarify which profiling tool is the most accurate when profiling for a VR build. I tried real time commnads stat GPU and got 3.5 ms for Volumetric Fog. When I checked the readings in Session front end I got a average of 0.058 ms and a peak of 0.2 ms.
Super confused as to which one is correct. Would love some clarity. Thanks for you time!
Yup that’s right. Hence, I’ve been making builds of the map. But I still face this issue of different readings when using GPU stats in the build vs. using Unreal front end.
Hey Paddy, not sure if this is helpful, but I’ve found that the GPU stats from the editor tends to be inaccurate. I’ve had to go with standalone or a dev build to get better numbers.
