Getting a shading artifact when using distance field shadows with the 4.7 release

I am getting a shading artifact when using distance field shadows with the 4.7 release. I recorded the video below to show the error.

I tried using some of the starter content architecture assets and one of my one assets, the error occurs on both.
The error does not occur when using cascade shadows.
The error is mostly visible on flat-ish surfaces. The wall with the siding detail is modeled in, so the error doesn’t seem affected by topology or by the triangulation.

Thank you for reporting this one. This has been resolved with CL: 2452228. The Master Branch on GitHub will contain this fix, but will not be available via the launcher or any release builds until 4.8.

I’ll be looking forward to the 4.8 preview build then, thanks for the quick and detailed reply.
