I am getting a shading artifact when using distance field shadows with the 4.7 release. I recorded the video below to show the error.
I tried using some of the starter content architecture assets and one of my one assets, the error occurs on both.
The error does not occur when using cascade shadows.
The error is mostly visible on flat-ish surfaces. The wall with the siding detail is modeled in, so the error doesn’t seem affected by topology or by the triangulation.
