Hi!
I’m trying to have our NPCs walk around lakes in our game. I’m wondering how you guys would recommend to do it?
What I have tried so far is using the Spline navmesh modifier. While it kind of works, it’s hard to make it fill only the inside of the lake as it grows in both directions when I modify Stroke Height/Width.

Our approach is to use a nav modifier with either a null or special water area. The Water Body plugin is quite often used. While this thread is about adding navigable areas to the water, it can also be done to remove the navigation from the water. Other thread on water and navmesh: [Content removed]

We are using fluid flux for the ocean, maybe we can somehow integrate the water body with it.
