Factory reset Galaxy s7 and UE4 4.16.3. Followed the GearVR Project Creation (https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Platforms/GearVR/QuickStart/1/index.html).
Everything works fine till I am prompted to insert the phone into the GearVR which results in immediate crash of the application and a message at the bottom of the screen “Unable to use Gear VR. Check mobile device properly inserted in Gear VR.”
I’ve scoured for solutions to this error and the only suggestions I’ve found are to uninstall some of the core GearVR/Oculus applications. I’ve factory reset and installed all latest versions of everything so this isnt the issue.
At a total stand still, hopefully someone here has advice for me. Thanks!
