The game randomly freezes during gameplay for console players. The freeze occurs without any clear trigger and can happen at any point during the session.

Steps to Reproduce

Join the map on a console.

Play normally (no specific action required).

At a random moment, the game may freeze for a few seconds and then unfreeze.

Expected Result

Smooth gameplay with no interruptions.

Observed Result

Console players occasionally experience brief freezes that resolve after a few seconds.

Additional Notes

The map uses Item Placer devices. A similar issue previously occurred with Vending Machines causing freezes, so there’s a chance Item Placers might be related—but this has not been confirmed.

freeze also happen to pc players..

FORT-926764 has been created and its status is ‘Unconfirmed’. This is now in a queue to be reproduced and confirmed.

Dealing with a similar issue. When going to or spawning where item placers are, my game freezes temporarily. My guess is that it’s trying to load everything at once which causes the lag spike, not exactly sure though, but it is a lot worse on console.

i keep getting reports about this, and when playing the map i see alot of players freezing ( you know they froze because they are running at the same location)
