im tryin to load into creative maps and i keep crashing ive updated all my drivers pc is like a month old was working fine b4 the update.

But my old pc* doesn’t have this issue at all and is fine updating and loading into any map like normal.

Issue also started for me after this last update and I can actually still load into maps that I had played before the update, but trying literally any map that shows the “updating x%” bar instantly crashes the game to desktop. Tried everything to fix it from repairing & reinstalling the game to trying different drivers versions to disabling my DNS - only thing I’m not trying is factory resetting my pc lol.
They need to drop a patch for this lol
Went on a whole TRIP trying to find info and everyone I saw who has this exact issue and specified what hardware they have has an AM5 motherboard. Also everyone who’s tried updating their motherboards to whatever latest bios they have available has instantly fixed the issue.
For me (Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX Rev1.2), I literally just now updated from bios version FB1 which came out on May 24 to version FB3f which came out Dec 3 and everything is loading fine now. Idk what Epic did with the last update, but apparently our motherboards do NOTT like it lmaoo.
If I had to guess exactly what it was, I’d say it’s any motherboard running a version of AMD AGESA older than 1.2.0.0 and not necessarily any particular motherboard vendor’s bios itself.
Hopefully Epic can fix it themselves so people aren’t forced to update bios if they aren’t comfortable with or capable of doing it.

alright, ever since the update i have not played a game due to the same sh*t happening. Really similar hardware too

i have gone through and, full wiped gpu drivers with third party software so it removes everything for a clean slate, went to previous windows and then reset pc to restore all files, ripped my pc apart to reseat everything swapped ram i have deleted my crash report files and went to go again and the things that stood out was “warning- failed to open crash dump file” and “warning-failed to open minidump file” i have verified game files and even tried a trick i seen work for others on reddit to open epic games launcher as to where you verify them files but enable that launch option and write “-dxd11” this issues is by far the worst that i havent been able to solve. i ran black ops 6 no issue at all with great performance when i was monitoring. IT DEFINATELY IS AN EPIC GAMES ISSUE HAS TO BE

Nah, not really. Their FortniteStatus twitter account has replied to a couple people mentioning our issue, but the replies are just stock responses like “please try to verify files” and when people say that doesn’t help, FortniteStatus stops replying. No actual update posts from Epic on any accounts that mention this crash. Idk where we could even report it that they’d actually see it?? But I feel like I’ve personally seen more than enough people complaining about it that Epic really should already be aware and have said something lmao. But I guess the new season and this update broke so much that they have their hands full already.

there is no official report on it yet. But you cant tell me that they havent seen this and looked into, ive filed a report my self. This is a joke honestly a $300 xbox can run it hunky dory. but my $3000 set up cant even load a game ffs

I have the same issue but my specs are a Ryzen 9 9900x with a 4070 super
yeah dude. Everyone with am5 motherboards, apparently a bios update helps some but hasnt helped me. Epic are fully resetting my acc to see if that helps as ive tried everything from their page plus more
