Summary
There is a very annoying bug while having the Third Person Controls Device set to Twin Stick or Dial Aiming mode and Moving/Teleporting a prop or device.
MoveTo: During the movement of a prop, the camera glitches into this weird mode where it following the cursor. After the movement finishes, the camera goes back to normal
TeleportTo: After teleporting a device/prop, the camera glitches into the strange mode where it’d following the cursor. However It does NOT return back to normal.
The Camera seems to follow the look at point no matter what when this happens.
Although, this would be a GREAT as separate functionality for the camera devices and such, but as it stands right now, this is a HUGE game breaking bug because I cannot move or teleport props without this issue happening in my top-down game. So this is game breaking for me…
Steps to Reproduce
- Use a Fixed Point Perspective Camera
- Call the MoveTo or TeleportTo function during a game
- It may take a couple tries, but after the function gets called, the camera all of a sudden will start following the MOUSE and it’s very jittery. Which is not how it is supposed to function.
Expected Result
- Use a Fixed Point Perspective Camera
- Call the MoveTo or TeleportTo function during a game
- Camera stays exactly how it was before. No changes to the camera should be made.
Observed Result
The camera all of a sudden will start following the MOUSE and it’s very jittery.
I’ve narrowed the issue down to Twin Stick and Dial Aiming mode. This issue does NOT happen when the Third person Controls Device’s Aiming mode is in “Movement” Mode
