Oh, hab dir im falschen Thread zurückgeschrieben ^^

Sollte eigentlich funken.

1. geh zu dem UT content ordner -> UT/UnrealTournamentEditor/UnrealTournament/Content
2. kopier alles was in dem content ordner (Showcase_Assets, meshes, textures,…) vom foilage pack ist in den UT content ordner.
3. jetzt sollte es funken

Ich weiß nicht ob man das direkt begrenzen kann, aber stell die quality settings einfach auf medium oder low + ändere die energieoptionen auf “Energiesparmodus”

Hey, danke für deine Hilfe Jetzt funktioniert soweit alles. Nur wenn ich eine Rasenfläche aus Meshes haben möchte, macht das die Lightmap nicht mit.
So Sachen wie in der Kite Demo mit riesigen Rasenflächen aus den Meshes geht leider nicht.
Selbst in der Unreal Engine funktioniert das nicht, da ist diese schon überfordert wenn mehr als 1000 Gras-Meshes vorhanden sind.
Hast du dieses Limit auch?

Edit, it does, I wonder how I get the foliage to cast shadow tho.

Yep, it should work with every engine version -> just update the project

Looks awesome and so keen to use it but when i drag it onto my scene it all goes grey? I dragged the folder i downloaded into the content folder and thats it i’m new to ue4 so i might be doing something wrong?

If I add them to my project, they dont look same good as on your screenshots. They still look good, but a bit too grey :o

I just copied the “Foliage” Folder to my Content folder and then restarted the Editor. I also get an Error that he cant open “M_grass_Inst”

Ah, I was not allowed to copy it to a subfolder ^^ Works now

Can you tell me exacly what you did? I did avery thing that came into my mind, and it still look gray =/

Please help! I dont know where to put the folder! I put it in the content in the content folder for the folder of my game and when i place it down it’s a bunch of weird black and grey rectangles. Please help tell me what im doing wrong or if someone can link me to a video or help me on the thread. Thanks.

I’ve watched that video and unfortunately it doesn’t help me at all. I downloaded the rar file, opened it up and copied the resulting files (it creates a foliage pack directory) into Content. In the Content browser, some of the items seem perfectly fine. however, when I drag them into the world they still appear as grey blobs. in fact the preview looks fine, but after I drag it into the world both the preview and the item I dragged into turn to blobs.
