FPS Performance ???

For the life of me I cannot understand what is going on, I have tried everything I can possibly think of to optimise my level.

Ive added lods, i’ve culled the distance of lights, ive unchecked cast shadows on all lights except directional, Ive made everything have no collisions, ive made everything nanite unless it was a simple mesh, i have culled static meshes at distance, i’ve tried dlss, ive tried 50% screen percentage, i’ve turned virtual shadow maps on and off. no matter what I do my FPS doesnt get better, or worse. At this point I just dont know. If anyone can ride in here on a white FPS boosting horse Id be so happy.

  • animations are exactly that, animations not mass ai brought in from Anima. I’ve tried turning everything off one by one with nothing changing my fps.

My fps in game is 20 and ms 50.
My fps in editor is 24 and ms 40.

Specs: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor 3.40 GHz / RTX 3090 Graphics card / 128gb RAM

when I turned off my anima animations (crowd) the FPS doubled to 50 and 20 ms

doing that didnt use to have that impact but ive made so many optimizations that now it does

is there a clever way for me do bake or cache or something so that my animations run with no performance hit? (its 416 animations in a 30 second loop)
