FPOM - Fast Parallax Occlusion Mapping

I’ve been working on a new POM material function node. It aims to be a cost effective alternative to Nanite Displacement, bridging the gap between traditional POM and Nanite Displacement.

Some notable features:

  • Works with Landscape and Mesh Terrain
  • Works with Decals
  • It’s direction aware, meaning it follows the UVs direction even if they are scaled, flipped or rotated
  • Slopes on landscapes/meshes get correctly mapped since it follows the vertex normals

Here is the overview trailer for it! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

What if you could use POM on your RVT landscape? What if
