Forward Shading

Hello. I would like to use forward shading however when I enable it I get bad black artifacts on 1 map only. The map is a marketplace asset “ruins” linked here

Has anyone experienced this with forward shading and know how to fix? Seems to only effect rock faces and tree trunks - they flicker on off as you move.

perhaps those textures need virtual texturing on

Thanks for the suggestion. I went into project settings and enabled virtual texture support, restarted and waited for all shaders to reprocess - but sadly it didn’t fix the black artifacts

I have black foliage artifacts on a couple project levels since converting to 5
FYI look up William Faucher on you tube
he has a shadow vid
maybe one of those fixes he covers is your prob

Thanks again, I actually did try his guide with 3 fixes but it didn’t work and I don’t think its showing the same issue in the video
