Fortnite Guardian shield doesn't work as intended

Summary

whenever using the Guardian shield it does not work as intended, specifically when pressing the Fire button(left click on pc, right trigger on console) the shield shows no visuals nor does it do anything, the shield can no longer block melee or ranged attack.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. find/get a hold of a Guardian shield
  2. put it in your primary hand
  3. press and or hold the Fire button

Expected Result

The shield should open up into a large blue translucent rectangle that’s able to block projectiles and melee attacks

Observed Result

With the guardian shield in hand, when pressing the the Fire button nothing happens there are no visuals and the shield can not block melee or ranged weapon damage.

Thanks for the report, I was able to reproduce this and am seeing the same thing. (Guardian Shield disappears when pressing primary fire)
