Fortnite game Freezes after closing UEFN

Summary

For about a week now every time I close UEFN the game itself will lock up and freeze the screen. Only fix is task manager end process.

I have experienced this if I am in an edit session and I close UEFN before I try to leave the session from Fortnite. Had to force close Fortnite.

Have had this happening as well. When sessions disconnect for example it can also happen that Fortnite freezes

This sounds like it could be a hardware issue. If you have all of your video card drivers updated.

I don’t think so. I’ve had this happen when you have pushed changes, tested, mem calc and then you close UEFN, fortnite freezes up. If you go back to the lobby before closing UEFN, never a problem, it’s only when you are in a test session and it has to disconnect from UEFN or something. Seems a very low probability that it’s a hardware issue, this is new from 37.40.

FORT-988769 has been ‘Closed’. The issue reported is not caused by a bug in the tool.
