I’m experiencing the exact same issue. It seems to be affecting Creative 1 maps after the latest update. When trying to play the island in Public mode, the game gets stuck on the loading screen and sometimes shows the “Fortnite Crash Reporter” message. However, playing the map in Private mode works just fine.
This seems to be a widespread issue and not limited to a single island. Hoping Epic can fix it soon.
