Summary
For some time now approximately 8 or 9 months there is a bug in Creative Mode (1.0) where rail building pieces do not work as intended. Their movement is loose and flimsy when they are supposed to be fixed structure pieces and snap into place. I have tried to request Epic to fix this problem but nothing has been done about it. This bug along with other make creating custom islands and game maps incredibly difficult. I hope Epic isn’t giving up on Creative Mode as it has been one of the longest standing modes since Fortnite’s release in 2017.

Steps to Reproduce
I don’t know if this bug exists on PC but console players have noticed it a lot in the past months.
- Launch Fortnite then select “Creative” from the main menu.
- Go into your portal for an island or select a premade island.
- Go to the Prefab tab (left side) and select any that have railings.
- Select a rail piece and move it around.
If loose then it’s bugged but if it snaps into place then it’s fine.
Expected Result
The expected behavior is that placement should be snappy instead of loose. If loose then it’s bugged but if it snaps into place then it’s fine. Rail pieces should behave the same as ceiling, wall and floor pieces.
Observed Result
The result is a flimsy/loose movement from the rail piece.

Additional Notes
The longer this bug and others go unfixed Epic may see a decline in the player base which in turn leads to losses in profit for Fortnite. I love this game but I hate to see problems like this persist especially when issues are actively being resolved in other modes.
