Summary

Audio Player does not play after restoring from a backup.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Put an Audio player.
  2. Make it do any sound you want.
  3. Save your island.
  4. Restore from backup.

Expected Result

The sound should still be playable.

Observed Result

The sound will not play anymore, exept if you do the workaround provided in ‘Additional Notes’.

Platform(s)

PC, PS4. (And maybe others)

Additional Notes

There is a work around for this and here it is :

  • Go to your device setting.
  • Edit a setting.
  • Save.
  • Make sure the sound is back.
  • Change the setting that you edited back to what it was.
  • Save and enjoy.

You’ll have to do this for every single audio player on your map so it’s still quite annoying.
