Fortnite Ballistic - I couldn't turn / look around

Summary

Hello,
today I couldn’t look around in Fortnite Ballistic (it was PC, but I think you can reproduce it on console).
I got many net drops at the beginning when you choose gadgets and I could barely do anything cuz it was laggy, but finally I chose gadget. Then when I appear at spawn point I couldn’t look around - tried click everything, play with gamepad, alt+tab to windows etc. but nothing worked. Then when I try to make emote I realize that somehow I was still at choosing gadget menu. Prolly my input stayed at Input mode only and never get to game mode.
P.S. yes, we lost that game :smiley:

i wasnt even laggy in the gadget select menu and had the same issue. for the record i plugged in an xbox controller and it didnt help (for the stuck in gadget menu theory).
i was able to buy weapons/exit the buy menu without a problem and even got an elimination, but each round i couldnt look around from the direction i spawned as
unfortunate that my team lost 6-7 because that could have been an easy win i feel bad for them
