Steps to Reproduce
Put movement modulators set to speed boost mode down in a track.
Place baller spawners vertical to where the ballers will drop on movement modulators.
Expected Result
Ballers should keep moving
Observed Result
Ballers sometimes stop on movement modulators where one is at a right angle to another.
Normally I can cause them to move by copying the movement modulator the baller is on, but sometimes I have to copy the one before it or the one after it to get the baller to move.
Maybe it was something that got fixed with the recent update?
I’ll see if I can duplicate it and post a video if I can.
Unless it’s just something affecting my maps.
Problem is still there.
First part shows the issue. I copy the tile the baller is on and it doesn’t move. I copy the tile before the baller is on and the baller then briefly appears at that tile then moves normally.
Also the baller glitches back twice right after that.
Didn’t start happening until maybe three or so updates ago.
What I think might be happening is the game is showing the baller as being on one tile, but the game thinks it is on the tile right before or right after.
Might be hard to impossible to duplicate as I’ve done stuff in my map that the devs likely did not think someone would ever want to do.
Based on what I’ve seen it could be a discrepancy in where the game draws the ballers versus where they actually are because I’ve noticed that if I have a few tiles of movement modulators set to speed boost then I have a wall running alongside the movement modulators, sometimes the ballers will appear visually on the other side of the wall, yet be affected by the movement modulators.
Here’s another video showing what I think is the issue.
You can see the baller moving then the effect of the baller going over movement modulators set to speed boost trap mode trailing behind the baller when it should be with the baller.
So it could be the delay in the animation is causing the game to be confused where the baller is in some instances which could be causing the issue of ballers not always responding to a movement modulator.
