Fortnight map Physics

Hey all,

Was wondering how they did the edge physics on the map in fortnight. As seen here:

I really like how it stretches out when the player moves.
First i thought it would be bones. but im not to sure about that since it stretches out.

The “jiggle” effect you see isn’t actually handled by physics. This is all done using a Material with World Position Offset that moves the position of the vertices of the mesh when hit.
