Does anyone know how to create foliage with a wind animation? I’d like the wind to pick up at times and then calm down at other times? I’m just used to CryEngines foliage tools which they gave you and unsure what is the best way to do it in UE4 thanks
You will have to create the wind effect in your material https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bAzKVaH0IZg with paramteres (e.g a scalar parameter which you will connect with a multiply + the wind effect so that you can turn the wind off/on) which you can control in a blueprint Change Material Instance Params In Runtime. - UE4 AnswerHub
