Anybody know how to fix this in rendering? In viewport looks fine.
Hello there @FEDERICO_J!
Flickering shadow is a recurring issue around the community, and it has multiple possible causes. We can cover some of them, but we will need further details on your setup (for example, if you are using virtual or classic shadow maps in your scene) :
-
Now, to cover the basics, please ensure your OS and video drivers are in the latest version available. I would suggest a clean install DDU, and if you are on nVidia, install the Developer drivers
-
Next, if Nanite is enabled in your trees or foliage, test by disabling it
-
For the lighting setup, please test the following Lumen reflect values via console command:
r.Lumen.Reflections.HierarchicalScreenTraces 0
r.Lumen.Reflections.HighQuality 0
r.Lumen.ScreenProbeGather.ScreenTraces 0
r.Lumen.Reflections.ScreenTraces 0
- Finally, if you are using VSM, please try these commands as well
r.Shadow.Virtual.OnePassProjection.MaxLightsPerPixel 64
r.Shadow.Virtual.ResolutionLodBiasDirectional 0
If the issue remains active, take your affected trees into a new, empty project, and setup a render there, to rule out of the problem is tied to your active project.
