Foliage on static Mesh

Hello all!

I have a problem with the foliage tool when i aply it to a static mesh.

The issue is that when i paint on the static mesh, the Z is not working well, when i paint in some places it does paint in the mesh but in other places it doesnt, it’s flying. I have tried with different Z Offset but it still doesnt work.

It’s because the collision of your static mesh floor is not the same shape as the mesh. Take a look in player collision mode

Yes that’s true!

But the problem is that i can’t make a full collision, any sugesitions?

You either have to build it out of basic collision shapes ( in the static mesh editor ), or switch the collision to ‘complex as simple’.
