I put a big cube in the middle of my map to test foliage occlusion.
When I use the
stat foliage consume command the results aren’t making sense.
The occlusion culled instances number if being updated properly. However, the number of foliage tris being rendered doesn’t really change.
Without the cube:
With cube placed in front of foliage:
As you can see the number of tris being rendered is about the same. But it’s culling 7,565 instances.
Does anyone know what is going on here?
