Foliage Issues.

I’ve been having some issues using Foliage in UE 5.2

First, I seem to not be able to turn on Nanite for foliage, and second, I tried using the foliage tool and got strange results. Most likely something to do with optimization.

As you can see, everything further than a few meters from the camera looks terrible. I have checked my project settings to make sure Nanite is enabled, it is. There’s just no option to enable it on any of the foliage.

Were you looking on the Foliage asset? The setting is actually on the StaticMesh asset - you can change all StaticMesh assets to Nanite at once, select the base folder that contains all your grass, set the Filter to StaticMesh, then select them all, right-click and there will be an option near the top to enable Nanite.
