Foliage and shadows not appearing through glass

When looking through a glass window, a great deal of my foliage disappears. Specifically, the distant conifer billboards and the simple buildings that I scattered around the landscape using the foliage tool. In addition, the environmental height fog and some shadows are missing. I have tried toggling lots of settings and I have used this material in other projects without seeing this effect. Any ideas?

Are you using raytraced translucency? If so, try setting it to raster

Thanks for your suggestion, the items return but the reflections are lost.

If you’re using Lumen then you can enable “high quality translucent reflections” in the project settings, and hit lighting for reflections. This is the best you can do with Lumen right now.

If you insist on using the standalone raytraced translucency you’re going to need to use baked lighting or you will be fighting issues like this constantly. (Even then, this won’t fix the foliage disappearance. I’m guessing thats a hardware raytracing draw distance issue)

Hmm. I just accidentally hid the post process volume and it fixed everything! Not sure what’s happening there. I have since unhid it and it still works. I think I changes one or 2 properties in between but can’t remember what I did. Good to know it works though, and thanks for your help.
