Fog sheet example only visible at certain distances?

hi everyone,
i migrated the fog sheet provided by epic into a test scene. It spans a fairly large area, as can be seen on the left hand side of my snap shot. When i start the game and walk around, the fog sheet is visible only at a certain distance from the player… -how can i change this?

Check the material nodes. There must be a depth biased alpha or distance based alpha in there somewhere. Just reduce the bias or distance and you should be fine.
