Fluid Blood splashes and tears

I was wondering on what’s the best approach to have sort of realistic real-time fluid blood splashes/ tears drops without the need of interaction.

I thought of utilizing Nvidia Flex but that might be overhead since i dont want to interact with the fluids, i just prefer them to have physics simulation however, also the Flex branch doesn’t seem to be updated to latest UE4.

Any thoughts on how to do that effeciently and perhaps without Flex?

Have you tried making a particle system for that? I can’t think of any reason a particle system couldn’t get the job done if some properly
