Floating Water Droplet Material


i would like some help in figuring out how i can make Floating water droplet. I want to make the droplets distort and when it gets close to another droplet it distorts towards each other and i want to to do it in the form of Sphere meshes which i can create as a particle system. is there a way i can make a materiel like that? it doesn’t have to merge into and connect like a real fluid simulation but just distorts towards each other.

This sounds similar to what you want. Maybe not the same, but similar.

I think there is a sample sphere with a material like that in the 2014 features tour project that’s available for free on the market place.
