Flickering meshes in far distance

Hi,

I’m trying to create a project in Unreal Engine 5.5.4.

Lumen, Nanite and Megalight are enabled, quality set on epic.

I’m encountering an issue with flickering on objects across the map, especially in areas farther away from the main camera. Once I get closer, the flickering disappears.
I’ve tried many suggestions from the forums, but no luck so far — it seems like I’m missing something.

Strangely, the flickering disappears when the camera is positioned in a perfectly top-down view.

I haven’t been able to find a solution and would really appreciate your help.

I’ve attached a video to better demonstrate the problem.

Thank you!

This artifacting could be a few things:

  1. are you running in native resolution? if not it could be TSR’s fault.
  2. do you have post processing effects like Depth of Field? try disabling post processing and see if it persists.
  3. same question with Lumen / Megalights, try disabling them and see if the problem persists.

basically do a process of elimination to find the source of your problem, from that point you will have an easier time trying to solve it.

Hi, thanks for your response.
I’ve checked all the options you suggested, but unfortunately, the issue doesn’t seem to be related to them.
It definitely feels like some kind of distance-related detail or rendering limit, but I still haven’t been able to figure out exactly which one.

Attaching another example of strange shadow behavior at close range — it might be related to the same issue.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
