Fixed Point Camera Device Doesn't Add To Players In Pre-Game.

Summary

We have a fixed point camera in a pregame lobby that is supposed to add to players when they join the pre game, but it doesn’t work. First we had “Add to players on start” and “Enabled pre-game only” turned on and this used to work a while back. Instead of that we tried adding the camera to players on them spawning on a pre game spawn pad, but that also doesn’t work.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Place down a fixed point camera.
  2. Make the camera enabled on pre game only and turn on “add to players on start” OR add the camera on a player spawner on player being spawned.
  3. Make a private code
  4. Launch the private code island on fortnite

Expected Result

The camera should be added to player when joining the pre game.

Observed Result

The camera fails to be added to player on joining the pre game.

Create a custom “pregame” instead. Then you can have full control over what happens when after the game starts.

Yeah, but we decided to just use a cinematic sequence with a cinematic camera and called it a day.
