First time using UE - Is there an easier way to render an HD image

Hey!

I am trying to render my character in UE5 and am struggling with the rendering process.

I followed a few tutorials, setting up the sequence editor (i think that’s what its called) and using the movie queue plugin. When using this, my camera in scene looks fine but the render is blown out and doesn’t match the lighting in the view port. (see attached images)

The only way I could sort of fix it was to turn the intensity of the light down from 1 to 0.2, and even then, the render doesn’t seem to match what i see in the view port.

Has anyone else had this issue and if so, how did you fix it?

Thanks
Jonny

Looks like an exposure issue. There should be a option which lets you use frames to warm up the level before rendering the image/film. Try around 100 frames and see if this resolves your issue.

Have you set the autoexposure to off in the camera that you use in the level sequencer?
Then use the manual exposure for lightning the scene up again

Thanks for the response! I will try both today and see if it helps. Cheers

Hey! I tried both and it seems to have fixed the problem! Much appreciated!
