I’m serious about learning/applying C++ to the unreal engine and game development. I just started with Unreal and it is big so I need help on what to focus on. Eventually I’d like to specialize in optimization. My question is, when you started out, what were some simple projects etc. you wrote to understand the engine and how C++ integrates? What taught you the most. Thank you for your time and guidance.
