I just tried something. I have been running my unreal project from one of my other drives on my computer. I have a raid 5, my main 'C" Drive and another backup F drive the raid 5 is disk, the other drives are solid state…
I just tested to see if my file location was causing any performance hiccups, and low and behold after migrating my unreal project folder from my extra drive and put it on my main drive(desktop), my fps went from a steady 80fps +/- 5fps to about 100-110 fps steady.
Even my GPU visualizer is showing a 2ms reduced time as well.
Is this a known thing and i am just a noob and people have been doing/knowing about this, or could this be something other people should be doing?
