I hoped it would be the opposite. With the amount of people being disappointed with current marketplace content.
I work with Blender for 3D modelling but I’m not a blender plugin creator. Plugins are python. Do you know why the visbility is better for blender plugins? on what website?
One theory I have is that most Blender users are 3D modellers and not programmers, but still in need of additional tools. With UE, most users are (to some point) programmers, either UI scripters or blueprint users.
To me, it seemed most logical that both starter and experienced developers would invest in buying code plugins to assist in building their projects. To me, it’s a waste to write the same code over and over, like so many developers are doing. They work on their own systems while 3000 went before them and finished their own equivalents (or better). Without data on this… I can’t understand any of them.
