When using VLMs on a somewhat larger level, sometimes you need extra density in only some areas. The Volumetric Lightmap Density volume though decreases the density or at best, leaves it untouched.
SO to get a higher density in some areas you need;
- to increase the density for the whole level
- use these VLM density volumes in every area you dont want a higher density
- so it leaves the areas where you need the higher density
It would be more user-friendly if this could be the other way around OR if you could set that behavior (include/exclude) in the VLM density volume.
