Would be nice to have a importer to having all the offset in 3D software directly ported towards unreal engine, that will save so much time to place the assets again in ue4, and will have a better workflow pipeline between artists and programmers.
Did ypu try to select all the models and expport/ Import whit FBX?
Yea, I tried imported all the models without combined mesh option being ticked, and each of the model got the same offset as in 3d software, however the offset is the starting pivot point of the model itself. It would be nice to have all the models having 0, 0, 0 pivot point and still having the translation data from the 3d software to the unreal editor. Or did I really miss out some features like this in UE4?
did you different materials to the object in the 3d application?
