The new circle DOF looks fantastic, great improvement towards more “film” like camera features (even though it’s a post process feature rather then camera feature).
One of the settings that kinda control the strength of the effect is FOV which is great, but for gameplay reasons too low FOV may not be desirable, while stronger “blur” may be needed and that’s where I would find an artificial, overall “strength multiplier” very useful. Hopefully this should be easy to implement?
