import FBX or OBJ
convert to Nanite
get visaul eroorrs

Expected Result

properly import FBX meshes for later work in UE5

Observed Result

will upload images

Window 10 + UE 5.4.4

as you can see on borders the model is just haveing not properly loaded geometry so there are emmpty spaces on borders of model parts

So the question is how to properly CONVERT to nanite meshes
its look some sort of nanite settings make this problem, but cant pinpoint the problem. even im tried version 5.3. different PCs and etc.
previously i have imported 10k+ part in UE5 without any problem… ( few months back on the 5.3. version

So for everyone if get in similar situation get help from fiend Libor

  1. check if youi see NANITE TRIANGLES
  2. go to LIT / UNLIT and scrol down for NANITE VISUALISATION / TRIANGLES
    3.if you dont see the colored triangles its mean NANITE is not working even its ENABLED

you need to go to the proejct settings file /Config/DefaultEngine.ini
and look for
r.ForwardShading=True

set it to FALSE
