Every time I try to launch session I keep getting this error message. The game loads up, however it only loads to the UEFN hub, not my project.
@KianMckenna, have you found a solution yet?
Nope. Sorry.
@KianMckenna are you still seeing this issue? From what I can see on the backend the issue above seems to be resolved. @Martian_Navy if you’re still seeing the same issues as Kian please reproduce the issue then, in UEFN, go to:
Help → Report Issue and then send me the zipped folder. Thanks.
Thank you for your response. May I just ask, do you have to be in the new Island Creator Program in order to publish a map? I’ve asked support this question many times and they say yes, and then proceed to talk about the Support a Creator Program. Something that I believe to be reduced to an affiliate marketing scheme.
Here’s the link to the program I am referencing (just so there is no confusion):
https://create.fortnite.com/island-creator/signup/step-1?label=Overview
Along with this i would just like to ask, is there any way I can check my progress on the 21 days logged into creative requirement for the island creator program?
Ps. I love your profile pic.
Hi @KianMckenna just asked around:
Both Island Creator Program or former SAC members can publish. No, users cant check the 21 day progress.
Also, thanks
Can I publish without being in either of these though? Also if I had my support a creator taken away will I be able to apply for the island creator program?
@KianMckenna to my knowledge you must be in either of the groups I mentioned to publish. I’m not sure how your SAC being taken away will impact your Island Creator application at this time.
I encountered the same issue as you, with this error message when i tried re launching a session in FN from UEFN.
What the issue seems to be was that there was a file that had not been saved/checked out before I was pushing, even though it would not tell me i had an unsaved file.
How I fixed it was simply clicking the save button (top left) THEN pushing changes, which then launched FN from UEFN no prob. Hope this helps you!
Okay I will have to wait to apply and see how it goes. Thanks for your fast responses.
No luck. I tried with version control disabled as well.
In my case, saving did not help, although the error is the same
I have been having this same issue for a few days. Just had it occur again so it does not look like it has been fixed.
To workaround this issue I move a random actor in my level and save the change. This has worked 100% of the time for me and I’ve had this error probably 10+ times now, though it could be a coincidence.
Update: @HalcyonKnight96, has helped me isolate the issue to some static meshes and by removing them, I am able to upload/test again
Any chance you found a solution to this? I just had this error
