{"failed":"FAILED","message":"You’ve performed this action too many times, please try again later."}

Summary

Searching the forums grants immediate access to a plain black page having the following text:

“{“failed”:“FAILED”,“message”:“You’ve performed this action too many times, please try again later.”}”

I don’t doubt there’s an error somewhere, but I seriously doubt the text has anything to do with it, and I am unable to search even once.

Additional Notes

If the search function worked, I might have found a fix for this…

Hi,

This is NOT Epic software, it’s some sort of generic across many external forums, which assumes something linked to this, and there is a very good description on an external website.

Can’t delete my messages: “You’ve performed this action too many times.” - Community / Website and Forum - Arduino Forum

The layout of the message you see is the web response from a remote server

You will have to wait for the amount of time until the external remote server responds.

This is very common across the internet

That’s an answer, but speaking from the user/customer P.O.V. saying “it isn’t us, it happens all over” is not a very helpful answer.

The fact is, this error is spurious. it occurs HERE, when users attempt to exercise basic functionality and it is still occurring. If it is a fault in 3rd party libraries or service, perhaps something better could be used? Upgrade the library? Perhaps slate it for removal when there is the time? Or at least acknowledge that it happens…
